BCRW con­grat­u­lates BCGOP on their very suc­cess­ful 2012 Lincoln-Reagan Din­ner spear­headed by Mr. John Pan­nullo. The event was held at Sea Trail Con­fer­ence Cen­ter, Sun­set Beach, NC, Sat­ur­day, April 21st. It was a won­der­ful event with a good time had by all. Keynote speaker Dr. William Ben­nett shared his thoughts on the cur­rent state of our nation and some spe­cial mem­o­ries of Pres­i­dent Rea­gan. There were many local and statewide can­di­dates and elected offi­cials present. Spe­cial con­grat­u­la­tions to Mr. Troy Price of Cal­abash who was most deservedly named 2012 BCGOP Man of the Year. Thank you, BCGOP!

Appellate Judge Candidates Seek Assistance

Please help these three con­ser­v­a­tives who are can­di­dates for NC Appel­late Courts.  A strong push is needed to help each of them reach their finan­cial goals ASAP so that they can qual­ify to receive funds from the NC Pub­lic Cam­paign Fund that is set aside to assist in statewide judi­cial cam­paigns. The dead­line is May 8th to make a dona­tion to their campaign.

Kabis Internship Applications

NFRW awards the Kabis intern­ship to three young women each year.  It pays for them to come to Alexan­dria to work, learn, & expe­ri­ence life in DC.  Many activ­i­ties are orga­nized for them dur­ing their stay.  They live in dorm apart­ments with other interns work­ing in the DC area.  Each state sub­mits a can­di­date.  From all the can­di­date appli­ca­tions, up to three are selected by the exec­u­tive com­mit­tee at the Spring Board Meet­ing.  The dead­line for appli­ca­tion sub­mit­tal has been extended to April 2.  For fur­ther infor­ma­tion, con­tact Helen Pan­nullo at jnphgp@atmc.net or 910–579-5533.

Joan Kinney Wins State Award
